Raider Competitions are athletic competitions held by JROTC. Events take place outside and usually comprise individual strength tests, team distance running, first aid, and some form of rope bridge crossing.
During the Bataan Death March in 1942, thousands of American soldiers were forced to march 60 miles while being starved and physically abused. Deep Run AFJROTC commemorates this tragedy annually by marching 14 miles in a park.
Wreaths Across America is a nationally coordinated wreath-laying ceremony for America's fallen veterans. Deep Run AFJROTC participates by laying wreaths at the tombs of fallen veterans at local cemeteries.
Deep Run AFJROTC commemorates the victims of the 9/11 WTC attacks annually by organizing a flag raising ceremony at Deep Run.
Deep Run AFROTC marches in Deep Run's Homecoming parade every year in October.
Every year Deep Run AFJROTC hosts a Dining In/Out ceremony officiating the transfer of the Corps Commander position.
